Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actress and former model. She was born on August 11, 1985, in Manama, Bahrain. Fernandez began her career as a model, winning the Miss Sri Lanka Universe pageant in 2006. She made her acting debut in the Bollywood film, Aladin in 2009, and later appeared in several successful films such as Housefull 2, Race 2, and Kick. In addition to acting, Fernandez is known for her philanthropic work and has been a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for Child Rights in Sri Lanka since 2012.
