This pretty little girl is wearing a beautiful, lace trimmed dress and has ribbons tied around her calves. Handwritten on the reverse is “Little Tina Olson – Chicago, Ill” so I wonder if she was a child actress. Photographer is “Robinson and Roe” of Chicago and New York. (William H. Robinson and Alfred J. Roe opened their first studio together in Chicago in 1877. They became very popular and opened a studio in New York in the early 1880s.) The image is in fair condition, with soiling, a few scratches, an “indentation” visible on the girl’s skirt, and the picture is not as crisp as it could be.
